| The most recent of the three shopping cart metaphors, this system is HTML based. HTML pages are "tagged" with script specific information so no database is necessary. I still think that a database system is better in the long term for a business, but this is much more user friendly to maintain than, say, the Database version and for those who are not comfotable with script modifications, it is easier to customize as far as graphics and presentation because it is done with HTML rather than CGI. | |
